Architecture builds and inspires communities. From our homes to our workplaces, our hospitals to our churches, our schools to our lighthouses, it creates the spaces and places where we live, work and play every day.
Over this past summer, the Architects’ Association of New Brunswick invited the public to celebrate the important role architecture plays in our New Brunswick communities by submitting their best New Brunswick architecture photos to our Architecture Through Your Lens photography contest!
First, we need to thank everyone who participated. The submissions we received for all three age categories helped to showcase how the public views architecture and its’ impact on our communities and culture.
Next, congratulations to our “Fan Favourite” and “Grand-Prize” contest winners! Your wonderful submissions won over the hearts of fans and judges alike.
The winners are:
“Fan Favourites”:
12 years & Under: Madeleine Strandberg
13 – 17 years: Georgia Estey
18 years + – Dave Mattinson
“Grand-Prizes”:
12 years & Under: Tatyanna Steeves
13 – 17 years: Carla Ahad
18 years +: Coleen Ramsay
We’d like to express our sincere thanks to all those who took the time to participate. From our contestants and voters to our “grand-prize” judges, together we have shared the power of New Brunswick architecture when it comes to building and inspiring our communities.
