The design brings to life the ruggedness of the property and the city’s industrial roots through a brilliant and distinct combination of craft and raw materials that welcomes the imperfections and uniqueness of natural wear. The corten steel-clad garage and the iron oxide veins visible in the property’s rock ledge pay homage to the city’s industrial roots, and are beautifully complimented by weatherworn up-cycled Wyoming snow fence boards, which provide a natural look well suited to the property’s surroundings. Soothing smooth white interiors perfectly contrast the rugged and industrial feels of the property, while an impressive green roof featuring 13 varieties of sedum further enhances the lush and heavily treed property.
