This two-day Energy Modelling program delivered by CIET focuses on introducing participants to EnergyPlus, the most advanced energy modelling software developed by the U.S. Department of Energy (DOE).

The course is designed to teach participants about EnergyPlus and OpenStudio, which are energy modeling tools used to analyze the energy performance of buildings. Participants will also learn how to use SketchUp, a popular 3D modeling software, to create building models that can be exported to EnergyPlus via OpenStudio for energy simulation and analysis.

The session will be tailored for NECB 2020 and New Brunswick climate zones. Day 2 will focus on case study work.

This technical course is designed for energy modellers and energy design decision makers in the buildings industry including engineers, architects, technologists, mechanical and HVAC specialists.

The course will be delivered in English, with bilingual material provided. We encourage you to register soon as seats are limited. Seats are valued at $1045 each. If you have registered and can no longer attend, please notify us in advance.
