The IAP is a pathway to licensure as an Architect in Canada. To become an Intern member of the AANB, an individual must:
Have graduated with a professional degree in architecture or have successfully completed the RAIC Syllabus Program
Have received academic certification from the Canadian Architectural Certification Board (CACB) – www.cacb.ca. This is the institution responsible for assessing the educational qualifications of all architectural graduates and certification is required to be eligible to apply to the IAP.
Be a person of good character
Submit a completed application for Intern Membership and pay the required fees.
